We have decades of combined Emergency Medicine experience and training, and we are dedicated to making sure everyone receives the individualized care their particular condition requires. Our Team

Robert N. Price, MD FAAEM
Dr. Price brings with him over 20 years of training and experience and is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology at Mississippi College. He completed medical school at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL followed by Emergency Medicine Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Price enjoys spending time hiking with his family and in his woodshop turning bowls and building furniture.

Zachary Jones, Operations Manager
Zack has been a part of our team since 2020 and became Operations Manager of Watkinsville Urgent Care in 2024 when we moved to Wire Park.

Timothy C. Filkins, FNP-C
After receiving his bachelor of science in nursing in 2007, Tim started working in the ER. He filled several roles including 4.5 years in management. After working with a number of highly talented ER physicians, Tim was motivated to return to school for further training. He graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2017 with his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner.
When he is not at work, he and his wife Tonya enjoy being outdoors and playing with their three children.

Amy L. Tucker, FNP-C
A Gainesville native, Amy attended North Georgia College and State University (now University of North Georgia) for her both of her undergraduate degrees in Nursing, with an additional concentration in Leadership. She has been working in the Emergency Department setting since obtaining her nursing degree in 2011. Later she returned to University of North Georgia to receive her Masters Degree in Nursing and joined the Watkinsville Urgent Care family in 2020.
In her free time she enjoys drawing, tennis and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.

Liz Albers, FNP-C
Liz attended Clemson University for her undergraduate degree (go Tigers!), and worked as a cardiac nurse for 6 years before returning to school. She then earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Augusta State University, and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in hospital medicine, long term care before urgent care. She is passionate about bringing evidenced-based practice to the outpatient setting.

Bridget Doster, CCMA
A Oconee native, Bridget attended Athens Technical College for her Medical Assistant certification. She has been working in a pediatric primary care and urgent care setting since obtaining her medical assistant certification in 2018. Bridget has worked with us previsously at PrimeTime Urgent Care and joined the Watkinsville Urgent Care team full time in 2024.
In her free time she enjoys playing with her dogs outside, and spending time with her husband and son.

Amber Jones, CCMA and Patient Coordinator

Maura Matti, CCMA
Originally from Elberton, Maura graduated with her associates degree in medical assisting in 2014 from Lanier Technical College. After working in specialties from pediatrics to ENT for several years she joined our team at Primetime urgent care in 2020. Later on joining the Watkinsville urgent care team in 2024.
She enjoys spending time with her family in her time off; walking to her local farmers market, hiking, or traveling.

Lauren Suggs, CCMA and Patient Coordinator
Lauren is currently studying Biomedical Physiology at the University of Georgia to earn her Bachelor’s of Science on the pre-health track. She earned her Certified Clinical Medical Assistant credential in 2022 and has since gained two years of experience working as a medical assistant. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, cheering on the Dawgs, cooking, and coaching color guard at North Oconee.
